The problem
The event you plan and the event people attend are the same event.
Almost nothing treats them that way. Sourcing lives in one system, ticketing in another, the schedule on the day in a third. Every seam is a place where the truth diverges — and the people who feel it are the supplier working from an old brief and the attendee reading a programme that changed an hour ago.
- CreateAn organiser builds the event and what it needs.
- SourceVenues, suppliers and talent quote against real requirements.
- PublishThe organiser decides where the public meets it.
- DiscoverPeople find it, on the surface that suits it.
- AttendTickets, arrival, the door.
- Experience liveWhat is happening now, while it happens.
One record moving through six states — not six products passing copies of it between them.
How it holds together
Created once. Published where it belongs.
An organiser builds the event in Market and decides, independently, where the public meets it. A fashion show goes to Events. A concert goes to Events and Live. An exhibition normally stays on Events alone. The event does not become three events to do it.
Where we are
Early, and saying so.
AmpRoom is in pilot. We would rather describe what the platform does and let it be checked than publish figures that flatter a product this young. When there are numbers worth quoting, they will come from events actually delivered through AmpRoom — and until then there are none here.
